On Friday, 10 May, Cue had the amazing opportunity to exhibit at the fifth annual Business Chicks 9 to Thrive Summit, held at the International Convention Centre, Sydney!

The summit is the flagship event for Business Chicks, a phenomenal networking community dedicated to women supporting women in their career and business goals. The company’s tagline sums up their ethos perfectly - “At Business Chicks, we believe that every woman is capable of achieving amazing things. But we also know you can’t do it alone. So that’s where Business Chicks comes in.”

In partnership with Business Chicks, Cue created an activation space at the event, with an eye-catching display of standout AW.19 styles and an enthusiastic team to invite current and future customers to the brand. The day also saw three lucky competition entrants win a $500 gift card to kickstart the wardrobe for their #boss career. With over 2,000 women in attendance, a large number of delegates were introduced to Cue for the first time, as well as long-term fans avidly re-engaging with the Cue team and this season’s key looks. 

In addition to the activation space, we had the pleasure of dressing four key speakers from the event’s highly-curated line-up. Olivia Ruello, Business Chicks CEO, opened the summit in the morning wearing our dazzling Forest Sequin Body Top, followed by Christina Hobbs, CEO and Co-Founder of Verve Superannuation taking to the stage in a signature Graphic Floral Tiered Dress. 

Talitha Cummins, much loved radio and television journalist, wore a statement Cue cape and Golden Animal Jacquard Blouse while sharing her insight on “busyness and balance” at a panel discussion. Lastly to cap off an extraordinary day, Turia Pitt – a woman of many talents (mining engineer, humanitarian, athlete, motivational speaker and author) who has captivated the nation with her iconic story of survival (find out more here) motivated 2,000 women (whilst doing squats on stage) wearing our Textured Twill Strapless Jumpsuit and Chiffon Satin Check Blouse.
